Dear DSHA community,
Next week is faculty and staff appreciation week. I want to take this opportunity to publicly thank our faculty and staff who work tirelessly to help our daughters grow as whole people. Our faculty and staff embrace whole person education and strive to help each young woman grow in faith, heart, and intellect. They prepare each Dasher to lead a life that accepts the gospel call to live lives that will make a difference.
This year, our faculty deepened our sense of community and belonging through the Salvatorian Family House System. In doing so, they came to know our daughters as individuals through their hopes, their joys, and the challenges they carry. They inspired intellectual curiosity, helped them think critically, and to use Catholic Social Teaching to help them make sense of our world. Faculty, staff, and coaches serve as examples of religious formation, offer emotional support, and encourage their interests and talents. They coach, assess, and form our daughters to be the best versions of themselves: the people God intends them to be.
As we near the end of the 2025-26 school year, I encourage each parent to send one note of gratitude to a teacher or staff member who has made a positive difference in your daughter’s life this year.
God bless,
Dan Quesnell
DSHA Principal

While filled with blooming trees and exciting rites of passage, the end of the school year also brings about the reality of finals. I don't know about you, but I still have those anxiety dreams about missing a final exam and waking up 25 years later in a panic. To help your daughter plan and take care of herself during these final weeks of the school year, here are some trade tips: | |
Remember: The finals process is as much about knowing content as it is knowing how to study, prepare, and take care of oneself.
Take care,
Erin Housiaux
Academic Dean

AP Testing Begins May 4 | DSHA has been recognized for the 2025 Advanced Placement School Platinum Honor Roll for developing an AP program that delivers results, broadens access, and creates a college-going culture that gives students the opportunities to earn college credit and to maximize their college outcomes. Research shows that students who take AP courses and exams are more likely to attend college and graduate on time. Even those who do not earn college credit benefit from the advanced coursework that provides early exposure to college-level work and college-going school culture.
These exams will be using the Bluebook digital testing application. AP Science exams will be hybrid, with both digital and writing components. The AP Spanish test will not be digital as it includes written and oral components. DSHA’s Student Services will provide all students with Chromebooks to administer AP exams; no personal computers allowed.
