Columbus Day Weekend Tournament Recap

Last weekend saw our club return to tournament play with 38 Bethesda SC sides competing in either the Alexandria Columbus Day tournament or the NVSC Battlefield Tournament. Despite some challenging opposition and some interesting weather on Sunday our teams played hard, earned some excellent results, and had a chance to bond and develop as a group ahead of the remainder of the league season.

Congratulations To The Following Sides Who Placed First Or Second In Their Age Group Divisions Last Weekend!
Safety Guildelines Reminder

As we enter into the late fall and early winter part of our season, please make sure that you continue to follow our club Safety Guidelines through all BSC events.

  • Masks- Players must wear their masks at all practices, camps, and clinics at all times. Players are not required to wear masks while playing in games or scrimmages. However, they must wear their masks when sitting on the sideline and entering/exiting the field before and after a game.
  • Team "Pods" - In order to limit exposure and manage any potential tracing needed, we are requesting all players stick with your own team: practice and play within your team only and pledge to follow BSC’s Safety Guidelines and protocols on and off the field. This "pod" concept is best practice and will allow all of us to enjoy this beautiful game more peacefully.
  • Spectators at Practice- Parents are not allowed to attend practices at this time and must remain in their cars.

We will continue to provide you updates to our Safety Guidelines as the situation evolves throughout the season. If you have any questions please contact your coach.
