Week of November 12th - 16th
"Leader in Me" Habit of the Week
Habit #3- Put First thing First. Work first, then play.
  • I do the things that I have to do before I do the things that I want to do
  • I stay focused on what I'm doing. I try to minimize distractions and regroup if I get off task.
  • I spend my time on the things that are the most important.
Stallion Quote of the Week
"There is no shame in not knowing. The shame lies in not finding out."

Principal's Message
Dear Stallion Families,

Our teachers have been busy completing progress reports and are looking forward to sharing your student's progress with you during parent-teacher conference week. If you have not yet scheduled your conference, please reach out to your child's teacher to set up a meeting at your earliest convenience.

During conference week, after school interventions, enrichment programs and clubs will be suspended for teachers to attend conferences. All students in grades K-6 will be dismissed at 1:08. These programs will resume after Thanksgiving Break. Please refer to the events calendar on our school website or contact your child's teacher for the most up-to-date information. Additionally, our PTA will be selling San Miguel t-shirts before and after school during conference week. T-shirts cost $10 each and will be available while supplies last.

Lastly, as we prepare to enter the holiday season, we want to remind you of the importance of daily attendance for your student. School attendance is one of the most consistent predictors of student academic success. Research shows that students with better school attendance have better learning outcomes, including earning higher grades and achieving higher test scores. We thank you for ensuring that your child arrives to school on-time daily and prepared to learn all of the wonderful things that our teachers have in store. Together we will continue to raise daily attendance, increase student engagement, and grow as learners.

Kindly,
Mrs. Richmond
