Message from your Principal
San Miguel Families,

Thank you to all of the families who joined us for Back to School Night. Your teachers and I appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedules to partner with us as we seek to provide the best educational experience for your student.

This week our students will begin participating in their bi-weekly AMP sessions. AMP stands for art, music, and PE. However, AMP sessions may include theatre as well. Be sure to ask your students about this wonderful opportunity which aligns with our school vision of creating global 21st century leaders and collaborators who are appreciative of the arts and guided by emotional intelligence.

This week also marks the introduction of our first “Leader in Me’ Habit of the year. Each week’s bulletin will highlight key points about the Habit of the Week. Please take a moment to ask your student what they learned about the habit, and how they exhibited the qualities at school this week. Students can earn tickets for prizes by showing leadership and displaying the 7 Habits on campus.

I wish you all a fun and relaxing Labor Day weekend. We look forward to seeing every one Tuesday morning.

Mrs. Richmond
