Dear Stallion Families,

Our sincere apologies for having to postpone our Bingo for Books family night. We want to ensure that everyone has a wonderful time and with the unpredictability of the weather, we thought it would be best to reschedule for a later date.

Student safety continues to be a priority. That includes teaching students how to use technology appropriately. We’ve had a recent influx of students attempting to access social media apps on their cell phones at school. As such, we want to remind you of our cell phone policy posted on page 13 of our family handbook . Cell phone use is prohibited during the school day. Students may not carry them in their pockets or have them out on campus. If seen on campus, cell phones will be confiscated and held in the office for parent pick up. We appreciate your support in helping to prevent cyber-bullying and inappropriate cell phone use at school. For resources you can use at home visit the “Advice for Parents” section at www.commonsensemedia.org .

Congratulations to Ms. Adams class for receiving the Engaged Learners Award for the month of January and to Mrs. Barnett’s class for getting the Attendance Award for the month of January. To see photos of our past winning classes, be sure to check out the Lemon Grove School District Website Photo Album .

There is still time to give your feedback on our district LCAP Survey.  Your voice is important and we value your input. Links to the survey can be found on the school and district websites. Have a wonderful President’s Day Weekend and we look forward to seeing you all Tuesday morning.

Most Sincerely,
Mrs. Richmond
