Week of November 4th - November 8th
"Leader in Me" Habit of the Week
Habit #3- Put First things First. Work first, then play.
  • I do the things that I have to do before I do the things that I want to do
  • I stay focused on what I'm doing. I try to minimize distractions and regroup if I get off task.
  • I spend my time on the things that are the most important.
Stallion Quote of the Week

"The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be"
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
Principal's Message
San Miguel Families: Dear Families,

Thank you to our PTA and all of the wonderful volunteers who made our Fall Festival such an amazing success!  It was such a joy to see our students and families enjoying the warm autumn evening together.

October was a month packed with opportunities for our families to engage in learning with our students.  We hosted a “Leader in Me, Families” Day, a Kindergarten Parents’ Workshop, a Scholastic Book Fair, and a PTA Movie Night.  Join our PTA in gathering donations for the November food drive. You can also help our students show their community spirit by supporting their recycling efforts during the month of November and December.  We can do so much by working together!

As the first trimester comes to a close, we hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to conference with teachers during Parent-Teacher Conference week.  See your child’s teacher to sign up for a time to meet. Join me at this month’s “Coffee with the Principal” to learn ways that you can make the most of this conference time with your child’s teacher.

As always, thank you for your continued support of our students.  The San Miguel community appreciates you.

Yours in Learning,
Mrs. Richmond
