Parents Must Have Tough Conversations With Their Kids

(The Federalist) It’s critical that parents have age-appropriate conversations with their children to protect them from progressives’ dangerous worldview.

As a former homeschooled student and now a homeschool dad, I know first-hand the importance of sound education and the delicate balance of approaching difficult topics with my children.

First things first, families need to be grounded in what the Declaration of Independence calls the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God, meaning God’s law is true, supreme, and immutable. In today’s society, children are taught that it is acceptable, and often encouraged, to redefine nature’s law. To “create your own truth” and go against the foundational truths that this country was built upon. Being rooted in the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God is the starting point, the catapult, for addressing difficult topics that our kids are facing on a daily basis.

Gone are the days when our God-given body parts were the determining factor of our sexual identity. Leftist agendas are now pushing that your sex is determined at birth, but your gender is not determined until you are old enough to start showing either feminine or masculine tendencies. Parents are being told to keep their children’s biological sex secret until their child is old enough to decide their own identity. This blatantly goes against the laws of nature.
A Nurse’s Firsthand Look At The Transgender Craze

(Washington Stand) I graduated from nursing school in 2015, excited about starting my career and forging my future as a medical professional in one of the most prestigious medical centers in the world. Although my education and training shaped me to appreciate the incredible advances of modern medicine, I have grown increasingly disillusioned at the deafening silence of medical professionals around the country who are abandoning biological reality in the name of radical transgender ideology. We are in the midst of a pandemic of cowardice: a deafening silence of adults in the medical profession who have misplaced their spine for fear of losing their livelihoods, reputation, and professional credibility.

Doctors and providers who have sworn an oath to “do no harm” are quite literally harming a generation of adolescents who erroneously believe they were born into the wrong body. The social contagion known as transgender ideology has swept across our nation, and the overwhelming majority of people in my career field would rather watch as teenage girls get double mastectomies than risk speaking out and endangering their lucrative jobs.

Please Do Your Homework

(Standing For Freedom) Gary Bauer, Senior Vice President of Public Policy at the Dr. James Dobson Family Institute and President of American Values, . . . says this academic year may be one of the most important in the history of our country. The evidence is overwhelming that America’s classrooms, from the earliest grades, are being used not to educate but to indoctrinate our children with radical ideologies, racially divisive theories, and distorted views on human sexuality.

Here are 3 main areas of concern for parents across the country:

1. Human sexuality – Sexually explicit textbooks, library materials, workbooks, and classroom handouts are being introduced to children at inappropriate ages, including as early as first grade.

Transgender ideology is being pushed aggressively in many classrooms. In some cases, very young children are taught that if they “feel like a girl and a boy” they are transgender. So much for the “tomboy” girl who loves to play with her brothers! Some teachers have even told children to pick the pronouns they want to be called but instructed them not to tell their parents.
