2 Week Residential Experience
New Haven Promise and Quinnipiac University will offer 54 New Haven, low-income high school students FREE PRE-COLLEGE $1,000 SCHOLARSHIPS for mini (2 weeks) summer courses in Media Production, Entrepreneurship, and Healthcare Career Exploration (Scholarship covers tuition, boarding, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks), T-shirts and course materials).
This is a 2 week overnight residential program. Parent/Guardian must drop off students to campus at the beginning and pick them up at graduation ceremony.

This 2 week on-campus overnight program is focused on business, entrepreneurship and using technology to scale a business idea.
Media Production

This 2 week on-campus overnight pre-college high school program learning about media production. Special focus and support for students living with a disability.
Healthcare (2 College Credits)
July 18, 2022 to July 29, 2022
This 2 week long on-campus, overnight pre-college credit preparatory summer program for high school students seeking to explore many different health careers.
COLLEGE RESOURCES
On Saturday, June 18th (12:00pm-6:00pm) the Descendants of the CT 29th Colored Regiment (CT 29th) will be hosting Juneteenth New Haven! at the CT Violence Intervention Center located at 230 Ashmun Street, New Haven. This year, for the first time, they are focused on supporting college going youth.

Admission counselors from Albertus Magnus College, Quinnipiac University, Southern Connecticut State University, University of Connecticut, University of New Haven, and Yale University will be at the festival between 1:00pm-3:00pm to engage with rising high school seniors in a FREE one-on-one private session! Admission staff will answer general questions that students have regarding the college application process and students can work with college admission counselors to edit/revise their college essay at NO COST. Students MUST register to ensure that they will have an appointment. You don't want to miss out on this wonderful offering!
