Join clinical psychologist,  Lisa Damour, PhD , for an invaluable examination of the complex stressors that girls face today – in school, online, with their peers, and at home.

Drawing from her latest best-selling book,   Under Pressure: Confronting the Epidemic of Stress and Anxiety in Girls , Damour emphasizes the reassuring and surprising benefits that everyday stress and anxiety can bring to personal growth, confidence and the development of protective instincts in girls. Parents will learn how to help our daughters capably navigate through the tensions and stressors in their daily lives.

Damour also recognizes that girls today are confronting a rising tide of unhealthy stress. She validates parents' concerns that when our daughters experience pressure in so many areas of their lives, it can lead to emotional overload. She will share some critical steps parents can take to both shield and fortify our daughters against the more toxic pressures our culture places specifically on girls.
