News from St. Patricia Parish
"For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save what was lost."
-Luke 18:14
Dear Parishioners,

This Sunday I offer you a little reflection on the Sunday Liturgy. Sunday can be a wonderful break from the “rat race” of daily life!

Liturgy is “the participation of the People of God” in “the work of God.” It is the “exercise of the priestly office of Jesus,” in which God is worshiped and adored and people are made holy. God begins the work of sanctifying people in time and space and brings that work to completion. Those who respond to God in worship and service are given the privilege of becoming co-workers in the divine plan. (We are co-workers in God’s plan!)

Each Sunday, the baptized are challenged to rest from their daily labors, to contemplate the goodness of God, to make present the victory and triumph of Christ’s death, to enter the joy of the Risen Lord, to receive the life-giving breath of the Spirit, and to commit themselves to serve those in need...

St. Patricia 2022 In Memoriam
We remember and pray for the following persons whose funeral services were celebrated here at St. Patricia Parish in the last 12 months.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Each year we gather for our Annual Mass of Remembrance. The names of the deceased, whose Funeral/Memorial Masses were celebrated at St. Patricia since November 2021, will be sung in their memory, and a candle will be provided to one family member or friend. We ask that one person, representing the family, bring up the candle during the Mass. All are invited to attend this Mass for All Souls’ Day.
