News from St. Patricia Parish
"He is not God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive."
-Luke 20:38
Dear Parishioners,

This weekend St. Patricia is joining with the Archdiocese of Chicago to support the efforts of a coordinated Catholic response to help asylum seekers. Over 3,000 asylum seekers have arrived in Chicago since mid-October and we are called to respond with faith and love.

Please read Archbishop Cardinal Cupich's letter below for more information. We will be holding a second collection this weekend at all Masses to benefit this campaign. Thank you for your generosity!

Sincerely,
Father Mike Meany

Parish Happenings
Veterans' Day Mass
Kruse's Krew Annual Veterans' Day Christmas Card Signing
Sat. and Sun., November 12th & 13th
Jim Kruse will be speaking after all the Masses. During card signing weekend, Kruse’s Krew would request that homemade cookies and fudge be dropped off to send to our troops stationed overseas. Halloween candy is also accepted!
Thank you for all your help and God Bless You All!
Community Services
St. Agatha, our Sharing Parish, will be accepting gift cards instead of gifts. However, we still need to assist the families in need. One of our volunteers will email or call you with a wish list for a Parishioner of St. Agatha. We will have a  signup sheet at the weekend’s Masses of November 5th and 6th, in the Gathering Space of our Church. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or email Missy. THANK YOU in advance for all your assistance to our area’s needy!
