News from St. Patricia Parish
“Receive the holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.”
-John 20:22-23
Dear Parishioners,

The Priests’ Health and Retirement/PRMAA annual second collection will take place the weekend of June 11th-12th. This collection benefits the healthcare, wellness, and retirement for the priests of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Your generosity to next weekend’s special collection directly impacts the 450 active and 254 retired archdiocesan priests who we have come to rely on throughout our lives. These men, who have dedicated themselves to ministry, play a significant role in our personal and spiritual lives, providing counsel and guidance as we deal with life’s challenges. They serve our needs as Catholics from the moment we are baptized until we receive last rites before entering eternal life.

And just as we have come to rely on the help of our priests, it is now our turn to show our gratitude and lend them some assistance with their needs...
Welcome to Our St. Patricia Family!
We welcome these children and adults who were Baptized into our

Parish Campus Improvements
We are looking forward to beginning the project of improving the drainage on our soccer field this July! Fr. Meany met with contractors to review plans, including the replacement of a storm sewer that was fenced off this past fall due to safety concerns. We are grateful for the generous support from our parishioners which makes this important improvement possible. Thank you!

Support St. Patricia with Planned Giving
Please Consider a QCD gift for Our Parish

You can help to support our parish and cover our increased operating costs by making a qualified charitable distribution (“QCD”) gift from your individual retirement account.
A QCD gift (a.k.a. IRA charitable rollover) allows individuals age 70½ or older to authorize their IRA administrator to make a direct transfer of funds from their IRA to qualified charities, tax-free. This way of giving does not generate taxable income, which may lower your annual income level. If you are age 72 or older, the amount you transfer may count towards your required minimum distribution.

If you would like more information on how to make a QCD gift to St. Patricia Parish, please contact Julie Villegas-Suarez at 708-598-8200 or email: jvsuarez@stpatriciaparish.com
or contact Krystina M. Campbell, Planned Giving Officer, Archdiocese of Chicago at 312.534.5404 or kcampbell@archchicago.org.
