News from St. Patricia Parish
And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith." -Luke 17:5
Dear Parishioners,

The Prophet Zechariah preaches words of encouragement to our ancestors who were returning from exile. In the Church today, we take heart when we reflect upon God’s love and listen to God’s word. “I will rescue my people…I will bring them back…the least one among you is the greatest.”

In October, the Catholic Church in the United States celebrates Respect Life Month, and the first Sunday of October is designated as Respect Life Sunday in which the Church proclaims the sanctity of human life in a particular way. Like Zechariah, we preach in defense of the dignity of the human person in a spirit of hope and trust. Only in God will we change people’s hearts and not with animosity or harsh judgment.

Today, life is being attacked from every angle: abortion, speculative medical research, the death penalty, assisted suicide, war (which too often maims and kills the innocent women, children and the elderly), and racism—which degrades and destroys the human spirit...
October is Respect Life and Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Parish Happenings
Catechetical Sunday 2022
St. Patricia Parish celebrated our Teachers of Faith during the 9:30 am Mass on Catechetical Sunday, September 18, 2022. We are very grateful for the dedication of our School teachers and Religious Education volunteer teachers and their passion for the formation of the young people of our parish! During Mass, Fr. Meany offered a Blessing for the new school year and all catechists were presented with a gift of appreciation.
Parish Improvement Projects
We are most happy to share that the drainage repair project that was worked on during August/September has been completed! The grass has begun to take root and we have had a few rainy days to see the results of the work, especially at the west end entrance to our campus.
Upcoming Events
For the safety of all pets and owners, all pets must be on a leash, crated or caged. Please bring your cleanup bags and be respectful of the grounds and others. Thank you!
