News from St. Patricia Parish
A voice came from heaven, "You are my beloved Son, and with you, I am well pleased." - Luke 3:22
Dear Parishioners,

Hickory Hills is a wonderful community that values family life. The Parish of St. Patricia has been blessed by the many good people who decided to raise their children here and make this faith community their home, and more often than not, staying here their entire life!

At this time, I wish to thank you for all your prayers and financial support at Christmas.  During these difficult times, your commitment to your parish is a wonderful example to the larger community. May God Bless you and yours!
We welcome these children who were Baptized into our St. Patricia Family of Faith in November and December:
Alexander Rangel, child of Antonio and Cristal
Emilia Xitlali Soto, child of Rodolfo and Monica
Brandon Charles Spears, child of Bobby and Irma
Lily Therese Sura, child of James and Fanny
Dylan Daniel Ashack, child of Daniel and  Eileen
Maxwell Valentino Duncker, child of   Matthew and Erinn.
Mason Alexander Duncker, child of Matthew and Erinn

Alpha
Alpha is a program designed particularly for people who would not describe themselves as Christians or churchgoers. It is a series of 15 interactive sessions, typically completed in 11 weeks, including a weekend away, where anyone can explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open, and informal environment. Everyone is welcome! There is no charge to attend Alpha – it is free! After a small meal and time spent getting to know one another, a short talk and group discussion will follow. We are looking for volunteers to be part of this wonderful team to serve as Hosts or Helpers. We will have training sessions twice a year. Please view the video below for an overview of the program.

Please contact Missy Keegan (708) 598-5222, [email protected] if you have any questions, want to participate in Alpha (or know someone who would like to), or want to be a volunteer as an Alpha Host or Helper.
