Music Notes
Singers and Instrumentalists: All God's critters got a place in the choir. The choir is growing, AND there is no such thing as too ample a choir! In fact, if you have been interested but are shy, the joy is that many voices make light work. Also, instrumentalists, if you are interested in playing, let Martha know. [email protected]
- Feb. 12, 4 pm, former Grace Episcopal Director of Music, Daniel Brinson will present Opus 3941's 3rd recital, which will include some choral music and congregational singing.

Campus Kitchen Souperbowl
The Campus Kitchen Souperbowl is Sunday, January 30 from 11 am to 1 pm at Evans Hall. It is an annual event, the proceeds from which benefit the Campus Kitchen Backpack Program. The CK Backpack Program aims to address the meal gap experienced by students on Free and Reduced Lunch over weekends through the provision of weekly packages of non-perishable breakfast, lunch, and snack items. Each week during the school year, the Campus Kitchen Backpack Program delivers roughly 1,200 of these backpacks to elementary, middle, and preschools around Rockbridge County.
This year the Campus Kitchen Souperbowl is being hosted as a to-go event. A ticket to the event will get you 9 soup samples from a variety of area restaurants, caterers, and other organizations! Tickets can be purchased for $15/adult, or $10/child at the door.
Participants this year include: Blue Sky Bakery, CHEFS Catering, Glowbowl Café, Heliotrope Brewery, Legendary Eats, LexMex Tacos, Phi Kappa Psi, Pronto, the Red Hen, Rockbridge Jewish Community, Southern Inn, Sweet Treats, and W&L Dining.
