This Sunday's Prayer for the Transition

Gracious Father, giver of all that is good: as with Simeon, your servant, may the Holy Spirit rest on us here at St Paul's, that we may respond more quickly to your invitations to draw near and depend on you. Simeon and Anna waited a very long time, but remained joyfully faithful, not flagging in spirit. May it be so with us. For the sake of your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. AMEN.

St. Paul’s Vestry Elects Officers

At its meeting Sunday, our Vestry elected new parish officers and administered the oaths of office to them.

Bob Ozinga was elected Senior Warden.

Charlie Ackermann was re-elected as Junior Warden.

Diane Freestate was re-elected as Treasurer, and

Carolyn Carney was elected as Registrar.

Three new members were elected to the Vestry to replace Kim Hazuda, Julia Eaton and Laura Bittinger.

The new Vestry members are:

David Larrabee

Tad Stewart and

Debra Donnelly-Barton

Separately, Bob Ozinga has stepped down as Chair of St. Paul’s Transition and Search Committee. Tom Andrews will provide leadership for the Committee going forward.

We are looking for Godly play books that may have been borrowed and not returned. Please check your books we are missing a few.

Haven Ministries Dinner

Passing along this message from Susie Reckord and Mary Jourdak of Haven Ministries: "the meals have been marvelous and generous and some days there are left overs that are taken to the Resource Center for the guests for lunch". You can be sure the meals you provide are a true blessing.

The February - April 2025 schedule for providing dinners for the Haven Ministries Shelter is now posted on the bulletin board and in Donaldson Hall. St. Paul’s is scheduled for Feb 10 and 11, March 14 and 15, and April 14 and 15. Please check the signup sheets to see when you could help. When providing a dinner, it can be meat and vegetables, or a main dish casserole and salad, and bread. Dessert is optional. Drop off is at 6:30 pm at Kent Island Methodist Church.
