We hope you are enjoying the lovely June weather. As you may know, we are now in phase 3 of reopening, so we are moving right along into our
For our parish, this does not bring in any new changes or permissions, but we continue to operate more efficiently and just as safely at our current levels. We look forward to increased abilities to serve in the future.
In the meantime, there is a great amount of wisdom that this upcoming Sunday's readings give to us. We are reminded about the need to prioritize our relationship with Jesus above all else as well as encouraged to die to self:
"we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death... If, then, we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him." (Romans 6:3,8)
Certainly these last few months have been occasion for many great sacrifices and die-to-self moments on our part, and all of these can have great cosmic meaning and the potential for the outpouring of God's Grace in our lives if we are able to offer them up to our Lord rather than count them as loss.
So let us be encouraged by the presence of Christ in His Word, but also nourished by Him in spiritual or physical Communion this weekend. See you then!
God Bless and Peace!
