The Trotzendorf Lectures
How do you know what is true? The Trotzendorf Lectures will look at that question as it affects various fields of knowledge such as history, language, theology, and science, Wednesday, July 17, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Concordia University Chicago, 7400 Augusta, River Forest. 2019 National Rural & Small Town Mission Conference
The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod will host its 2019 National Rural & Small Town Mission Conference on November 14-16, 2019 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bloomington-Minneapolis South near the Mall of America.
The speakers and sessions will build on the theme “Running With Endurance: Eyes Fixed On Jesus” and will address the blessings and challenges facing rural and small-town congregations. The position requires an individual with excellent skills in communication and personal relations. Faith Lutheran Church, 680 West Deerpath, Lake Forest, has an open position for an organist/choir director. Major responsibilities include selection of and providing for organ and/or piano music for all worship services which involves choosing appropriate music reflecting the liturgical season and designated Scripture.
