Parish Survey- due May 18

The process of preparing to seek a new rector for our parish has begun in earnest. The meeting on May 1st with the Rev. Jason Alexander was an encouraging one. He outlined the process which will include obtaining feedback from members of the church and developing a profile which describes us and our communities. I say communities, as we are located in Russellville, but our membership is increasingly diverse and includes residents of a number of towns in Pope, Yell and Johnson Counties.

Please take the time to prayerfully answer these questions. This survey will be posted through May 18th. This should allow everyone time to do it. Hard copies will be available in the office.

Neighbors Table Update

If you can help with desserts, please bring store bought cookies, cakes, or bars, mark them “NT,” and put them in a refrigerator or freezer. Under health department rules they must be cooked in a certified kitchen, so no more home baked goodies. We really appreciate your generosity.

Last week we served 150 meals; 92 drive through and the rest delivered to members of our parish and community. We had wonderful boxes of food from ConAgra to give to every family, and eggs from our Blue and You grant.

Our menu this week our menu is pork and veggie stir fry with salad, fresh fruit, and apple cobbler for dessert. Each bag will include an extra treat such as granola bars. Food from the Arkansas Food Bank will be used. We will prepare 150 meals.

Please keep Neighbors Table in your prayers. We greatly appreciate the many helpers who pray for us and contribute their time, talent, and treasure! If you would like to know more, or volunteer, please contact Carolyn McLellan, (479) 264-5969, [email protected] or Charlie Tyrone, (479) 857-0480, [email protected].
Bath Soap, Shampoo, Toothbrushes & Toothpaste for Loaves and Fishes

Loaves and Fishes, a part of the Neighbors Table ministry, asks for donations of bath soap and shampoo to provide to our guests. Also needed are soft and medium toothbrushes and toothpaste. Children’s toothbrushes are welcome donations. There is a specific need for men’s S/M pull-up disposable underwear. Please place your gifts in the Loaves and Fishes Wagon in the nave. As a reminder, you can support Neighbors Table with a donation to Food Ministries in the Giving tab at the All Saints’ webpage.

Practicing Prayer

Practicing Prayer will not meet on May 15. We’ll resume our meetings on May 22.
All are welcome!

To receive a Zoom invitation, please email Catherine Crews,
[email protected], with your contact information.

We pray for those who have birthdays this week: Robin Danielson, Rudolpho Delabra, Del Danielson, and Julie Hodges.

O God, our times are in your hand: Look with favor, we pray, on
your servants as they begin another year. Grant that they may grow
in wisdom and grace, and strengthen their trust in your goodness
all the days of their lives; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

For those celebrating an anniversary this week: Noma & Chris Kellner, and Erin Clair & David Eshelman.

O gracious and everliving God, look mercifully upon your servants who come to renew the promises they have made to each other. Grant them your blessing, and assist them with your grace, that with true fidelity and steadfast love they may honor and keep their promises and vows; through Jesus Christ our Savior, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Please let the office know if your birthday or anniversary has been missed, so that we may add the date to our records.
