Reflections with Fr. Mark
Dear Parishioners,

Today, we celebrate the Memorial of St. Kateri Tekakwitha, virgin.  A recent canonization, Kateri became a saint in 2012.  She may be the perfect intercessor during this time of pandemic with COVID-19 since her family members and many indigenous died due to the smallpox epidemic of the time.  She was left disfigured and half blind due to the same disease.

As we continue with our own sufferings and losses in these months, let us all turn to her in prayer and ask that she bring healing and strength to us and to the earth upon which we live and depend upon for health and life.  May we follow her example of faith, teaching and gracious living.

Be assured of our prayers for you each day as we continue our journey together and apart.

Blessings,

Fr. Mark
