Message from Fr. Rick Abert, S.J.

Very soon, almost unaware of the mystery resting close to our hearts, we will turn another corner and discover once again that the time of Advent is upon us, signaling, reminding us that the deepest truth, the deepest desire of our lives, will open the door of our hearts and introduce us to the deepest desire of our God, to satisfy our longing again, and to experience the connection that becomes our salvation. No connection we make in life is more important than the Nativity of Jesus the Christ. Because it is so important we take time to focus on our preparation for the each year event of Nativity that is really the promised every day blessing of God’s loving presence in our life. We take the time called Advent to prepare and to wait and to hope in the arrival of undeniable love. We welcome the birth of love in its unending power finding its place in human-kind; in hearts that need healing; spirits that need strengthening; burdens that need lifting; relationships that need encouraging; life that simply needs embracing. And so once again we turn the corner to find ourselves face to face with God who is with us, heart to heart, deep desire to deep desire, gratitude to gratitude that is a gift of everlasting life.

Mass of Installation of our Pastor

Thank You for a Beautiful Celebration!

We are filled with gratitude for the wonderful celebration of our new pastor's installation on November 17th. Over 500 parishioners from our two parishes came together as one community in faith at St. Patrick’s Church, making this a truly joyful and memorable occasion. Two of our choirs combined their efforts to lift our hearts in worship, and we were deeply blessed by the presence of Bishop James Schuerman, and Fr. Karl Kiser S.J., the Provincial of the Midwest Jesuits. Thank you to everyone who participated, prayed, and supported this milestone for our parish family. Together, we continue to build a community united in Christ's love!
