John Driscoll, 6th Grade Math Teacher

This is my third year at Park Maitland.

Some of my favorite memories are things like my Treasure Hunt Bee, where students have to decipher things that initially look indecipherable and work together to achieve a common goal.

I teach 4 different levels of 6th grade math and love the challenge of meeting each student where they are and hopefully building their skill set at least a little bit each day.

I am a rabid Buffalo Bills fan- which means I am enjoying this football season far more than most, and my family is very understanding of the fact that Sundays are always built around watching the Bills.
Dianna Ramsuer is excited about her new position as the homeroom teacher for the sweet 1 red class and the reading and ESW teacher for both 1 red and 1 blue. She is looking forward to forming a strong connection with both the students and their parents.

Mrs. Ramsuer is a native to Central Floida who graduated from University of Central Florida with a BS in Elementary Education/Early Childhood. She completed her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human development from Troy State University. She continued her education by becoming a specialized reading tutor using the Barton Reading Program.

Mrs. Ramsuer has many years of experience as a Kindergarten through fourth grade teacher and Elementary Guidance Counselor in Seminole County Schools. Mrs. Ramsuer has a heart for the primary grade level population. Many families may recognize her from the extensive tutoring she has done with many of our students.

Mrs. Ramsuer enjoys immensely meeting and teaching children from all backgrounds and cultures. She has a heart for both the social and academic well being of her students. Her teaching philosophy is building self-efficacy in students so they can succeed!

She resides in Longwood, Florida with her husband Frank and enjoys reading, gardening and interior design.
