VALENTINE'S CLASS PARTIES!
Valentine's Day parties are taking place on Wednesday, February 13th!

Students may wear pink/red or valentine themed shirts with jeans as they celebrate the festivities! Please do not send individual “Goodie Bags” for friends. It is fine to bring cards with one small food or nonfood item attached. We are looking forward to this special day as students focus on the joy of giving to others as they celebrate Valentine’s Day and participate in the Feeding Children Everywhere service project.

We were honored to host the Atlantic Coast Theater for their performance of City Mouse & Country Mouse!
2nd graders are working hard on self portraits for our upcoming "Across Generations" event.

Judges Needed!

In order to make our annual "Dr. Alan Saffran Science Expo" a success, we need help from our parents! We need approximately 45 judges! If you are interested in volunteering as a judge, please contact Ms. Kitty Williams at kwilliams@parkmaitland.org to add your name to the list!
Registration is opening March 1st for Summer Camp at Park Maitland School! In addition to our summer camp program, we are so thrilled to offer exciting enrichment camps such as: Brave Girl, Art Camp, Lemonade Wars, Math, Reading, and Camp Laugh-A-Lot. Get ready for a summer like no other! Look out for more registration information in the coming weeks.
This month at Park Maitland we are focusing on Habit #5:
"Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood"

"We have two ears for listening and one mouth for speaking, so we should be listening twice as much as we speak."

We found  this catchy tune  that can be shared with your children as a fun way to remember habit #5.
Due to our 50th weekend celebrations, we will not be hosting a school picnic this year. We hope to see you all at the 50th Gala on Saturday, March 9th!
