THANK YOU to our 6th grade parents for hosting a teacher appreciation luncheon on Monday's teacher work day. We felt truly loved and pampered!
A very spirited group of 6th grade students (and their parents) participated in an EPIC experience at the UDL-IRN International Summit's Learning Space Design Challenge at the Double Tree Hilton Sea World this week! These students participated in a challenge against one teacher team and one student team to plan, gather, design, and set up spaces that best support learning!

Our 6th grade students earned two awards from the judges, Most Creative Furniture Arrangement, and Best Representation of Spaces that Support Universal Design Learning Strategies.
Thank you to Valet Cleaners for their generous beverage donation to our recent 50th Anniversary gala event. We appreciate your generosity and neighborhood partnership.
Congratulations to our beloved 5th grade Reading/ESW teacher, Ms. Carrier, now a Semi-Finalist for Nobel Learning Communities Teacher of the Year - A National Award. Ms. Carrier is one of 8 Semi-finalists out of over 200 K-12 schools across the nation!
***SAVE THE DATE***

Our annual Art Faire & Variety Show will take place on Friday, April 26th. Parents will be invited to attend the Art Faire during the school day at their child's designated class time. The Variety Show: Park Maitland's Got Talent, will take place later in the day.

This special day of celebrating art will have a 50's Theme as we are continuing to celebrate our Big 50th year! All students and guests can wear "50's attire" (poodle skirts, slicked hear/jeans and white t-shirts, etc.) to school this day! Stay tuned for more information over the next few weeks. We look forward to seeing you there!
