Children can register their act online by clicking  HERE .
Online entries must be submitted no later than  Wednesday, April 18th .
(Music must be given to Ms. Danae Pollack on April 18th)
You will be given a performance time and all instructions closer to the performance day. Children are limited to  ONE ACT ONLY  (not including Glee, Martial Arts, Cheerleading, or Strings) so they should choose their very best one!

This event is ALWAYS lots of fun for moms and dads as well as children. Please join us!
All students are invited to wear dress up attire on Friday, April 20th, for our Art Faire event! Students who are performing in the Variety Show: Park Maitland's Got Talent, can wear their performance outfits (if appropriate). Please ensure that all children are still wearing closed toe shoes.

We will observe our weekly "casual dress" day on Thursday, April 19th. Jeans day attire will be permitted.
 ITBS TESTING

National Standardized Test

Grades 4 - 6: April 19 (During 1st and 2nd Period)

Grades 1 - 3: April 23-26 (During 1st and 2nd Period)

We work very hard to teach your child well. They do not have to focus on preparing for this test. No particular "prep" at home or school is necessary. We do, however, encourage your child to relax, eat a good breakfast, and arrive to school on time during their ITBS testing week.
This month at Park Maitland we will be focusing on Habit #7:
"Sharpen the Saw"

To "sharpen the saw" means that you are taking time to find balance in all areas of your life - physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional. This balance will help you feel well and be more successful in all that you do.

Share THIS video with your children to help them remember what it means to "Sharpen the Saw!"

Congratulations to our neighbors for yet another successful year of bringing the community together to celebrate the wonder of cinematic art!

We are fortunate to share a partnership with the Enzian for many years. As many of you know, we rely on their parking lot for our staff and families during the school day. For their evening events (never during the school day) The Enzian uses our parking spots as well.

The Enzian and Park Maitland School are considered Icons in the Winter Park/Maitland Area and we are grateful for their partnership and support.
Read to Lead reading logs will be due on Monday, April 30th.

Check out Ms. Talbert's Read to Lead info on her Teacher Page to download this month's calendar activities and reading log, and to learn more about how your child can participate. You can find a direct link to the Club Read to Lead page below.
Happy reading!
