Our 50's themed  Art Faire & Variety Show: Park Maitland's got Talent  was a fantastic event showcasing spectacular art using a wide variety of art mediums and representing a variety of cultures and classical artists! We could not be more proud of our creative artists and their inspiring and talented art teachers, Ms. Flavhan, Ms, Forbes, and Ms. Leider!

Ms. Pollack did an outstanding job of organizing our young talent for our afternoon talent show, Park Maitland's Got Talent! Thanks to all who attended and contributed to this event's success.
The 6th-grade personal poetry collection highlighted outstanding ingenuity and very impressive writing!
3rd grade student Stefan R. won first place in two tennis competitions! One of which was for the USTA (United States Tennis Association).
After winning 1st place in our 4th grade speech writing contest, Tank C. went on to win 2nd place in the county speech contest. Congratulations, Tank!

Our 2nd place contest winner, Christopher H., was also invited to attend and present his speech. We are so proud of both boys for representing Park Maitland School so beautifully!
6th grade students took a break from rehearsing their "big show" to take a group picture in their show shirts!
Our 1st grade harvest was bountiful this year! Students enjoyed the "fruits of their labor" with fresh smoothies and french fries made right from their garden!
6th grade students worked harder than ever at our annual Charity Car Wash event, earning $2746 in donations for Camp Kesem !
Thank you to all who participated in our $2 dress down day! We collected $808 to donate to Orange County Public School Kids' Closet .
2nd grade students are continuing to have a great time exploring and learning about different career choices in Ms. Dick's social studies classes. Thank you so much to the presenting parents!
The "Read Me a Story" JFF event was fun for all!

Congratulations to Park Maitland's poetry contest winners! The reception was held on Friday, and winners were invited to collect their prize and read their poem aloud.
In honor of Poetry Month, select students in both fifth and sixth grade submitted their poems to the Maitland Poetry Contest. The theme was “Tune In.” We were elated to find out that many of our poets placed in the elementary and middle school brackets of the contest. Congratulations to these talented young writers!
