Our hard-working teachers are having just as much fun during Sports Fest as their kids!
Our 6th graders had a blast and learned so much during our annual India Fest on Wednesday. Thanks to all of the teachers and parents that worked together to create a fun and memorable cultural event!
We were so lucky to have Margaret Mincks at our 3rd-grade Read In event to share her book, Payback on Poplar Lane ! Thanks to all of the teachers and parents that worked together to facilitate this fun and educational event.
Our second graders worked hard researching either a country or a historical event. The students took notes, learned about timelines, focused on particular vocabulary, and created a poster to present their information. They presented in front of their classmates as a culminating activity. The outstanding results were displayed this week!
Enjoy this video recap of our 2018 State Travel Fair! Our 4th grade students worked hard on their projects, studying each state and creating beautiful displays to show off their work.
Our final skate party of the year was a rollin' success! CONGRATULATIONS to 5 Red for winning the golden skate. Sara Collins donated the golden skate to Park Maitland School in 2016, and this is her class!

Top 10 Facts Every Parent Should Know About Their Gifted Child

Wednesday, May 9th
8:15 a.m.
Room TBD

Did you ever wish your gifted child came with a manual? Do you wonder why your gifted child has over-excitabilities? Would you like to learn how to support your gifted child academically, socially and emotionally? Please join us on Wednesday, May 9th at 8:15 A.M. to hear Dr. Denise Spirou , gifted specialist, share with you the unique needs of gifted children and how you as the parent can be your child's best advocate.

RSVP HERE if you wish to attend.
Our Annual Food Truck Challenge is a major fifth grade project involving subjects across the curriculum. When every student completed their projects, they sank the entirety of the information into their “business portfolio.” This dynamic collection of hard work was then presented to our in-school judges, and finalists were chosen from each class. The finalists will be presenting their projects to esteemed experts who have a distinct knowledge of the business on May 17th @ 10:00 a.m. during the  Third Annual Food Truck Challenge. The big question remains: Who will be the final four?
Just a friendly reminder that all after school activities have ended (with the exception of Golf that will be ending on Monday). Kindly make note of this to ensure that children are being picked up during the appropriate carpool cycle.
