UPDATED Park Maitland COVID FAQ

Hungry To Help

We delivered a portion of our food drive collections to Dramatic Education Group. They serve 23 schools and the food we provided will account for nearly 400 meals served to over 80 families in the Central Florida area. We have a delivery scheduled for Wednesday, November 17th, but our truck is now empty. Keep the donations coming! We are track to set a food drive record for families served and meals provided.

Thank you to the entire Park Maitland community for your generosity.

7th Grade is coming to Park Maitland for the 2022-23 School Year
Continuing an Educational World of Wonder into Middle School

We are very excited to announce that Park Maitland will be adding Grade 7 for the upcoming 2022-23 school year, with plans to add 8th grade for the 2023-24 school year.
Middle school is a time of transition for many students. As students begin to prepare themselves for high school and post-secondary options, it can be a time when they leave the nurturing small environment of elementary school for the realities of a much larger middle school. How fortunate for our students who have come to love our intimate, warm school and program in which they thrive, that they will now be given the opportunity to continue their journey at Park Maitland further into the middle school grades. A primary focus in the school's middle grades will be continuing to build students’ leadership skills, character, study skills, and executive functioning. These are a focus for all of Park Maitland’s grade levels, but will be a primary focus in the 7th grade to prepare students for high school.

As we continue actively planning for the launch of our 7th grade next August, we look forward to telling you more at a sneak peek night that we will be hosting on Tuesday, December 14th on campus. That evening, we will be sharing more about the curriculum, grade-wide activities, very special field trips, and generally what to expect in 7th grade along with dates for initial registration. Our goal is to continue to offer in 7th grade the same rigorous, nurturing, small school, and personalized learning experience that we always have, while also continuing to foster leadership and community-mindedness in our students.

More information will be forthcoming as we look toward this exciting new adventure for our school.
