Park Maitland Sports Team News
Congratulations to all of our sports teams. What an amazing fall season! On Friday, December 17th, we will recognize our teams during our Toys for Tots assembly, and each player may wear his/her jersey or team t-shirt for the assembly. Go, Eagles!
Teacher Tuesday
For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to be an elementary teacher! I have been lucky enough to do what I love for the last 15 years. My teaching career began in Massachusetts teaching 1st and 2nd grade. I have spent the last 6 years here at Park Maitland School. I began at Park Maitland as a substitute soon after moving to Orlando. I fell in love with everything about our school and could not wait to become a permanent part of the Park Maitland family. I have been fortunate enough to teach Language Arts in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade during my time here. Teaching reading and writing is a love of mine, and I so enjoy watching my students truly become excited about learning. A favorite memory I have from Park Maitland is the 5th-grade Food Truck Challenge. I love seeing the students develop a concept they are passionate about and turn it into a professional presentation for their peers and teachers. They are always amazing!

Outside of school, I love to spend time with my husband, Zach, and my two children, Lucy and Logan. We spend much of our time at the park and going on fun adventures! I also love to dance, go to the beach, and cheer on the New England Patriots!
