Park Maitland Families,
As we draw near the end of the school year, we want to thank all the Park Maitland families for such an amazing school year. As you know, May is jam-packed with Park Maitland traditions, some dating back decades. The end of the year allows us to look back and reflect as well as celebrate the school’s and students’ accomplishments and send our students off feeling accomplished, invigorated, prepared, and excited for what's next in their Park Maitland journey.
Tuition and EOY Balances:
As we wrap up the year, we wanted to send a reminder that all outstanding balances for tuition, activities, aftercare, etc.… for the 2021-22 school year are due by Friday, May 13th. For any family with an outstanding balance as of Monday, May 16th from the 2021-22 school year, all records, report cards, and yearbooks will be held until the remaining balances are brought current for the 2021-22 school year. If you have any questions regarding your tuition or outstanding balance, please feel free to reach out to our Business Office at 407-329-6258 ext. 111, Ieleen Rundgren.
Class Assignments:
We respectfully ask that parents refrain from contacting teachers or administrators seeking special class assignment considerations unless there is a very serious problem, of which we may be unaware, that might negatively affect a child’s school performance. For these serious concerns, please contact Jeanette Lukens (incoming grades K4- 3) or Valerie Kennedy (incoming grades 4-7) before the last day of school for this to be taken into consideration. Careful thought is given to the placement of each child. Our teachers and administrators use their best professional judgment in creating the class assignments for the upcoming year, balancing many factors to best meet the needs of all our students. They know their students very well, not only as individuals but also as learners. Each child's "style of learning" is of paramount importance. The teachers take this task very seriously and try to suggest the very best possible combinations. Class assignments for the school year are determined by many factors including boy/girl ratio, social, and academic considerations. There are ample opportunities for children to make friends across the grade level.
Please Note: You will be given your child’s class list at the grade level ‘Meet & Greet’ session prior to the first day of school. It is NOT possible to release this information prior to that date.
Again, we thank you for an amazing year and appreciate all your support.
