If you or anyone you know is a Nurse and would be interested in a substitute nurse position for our clinic, please contact Davina Spillmann.
The position would be occasional hours on an as-needed basis. I would be the one contacting substitutes in advance regarding dates, times, etc., and will provide training and any and all information you need.

We encourage every family to check their ALMA account on a weekly basis.
Checking your account regularly will allow you to view any incidental charges and/or updates to your account and more importantly allow time if there are any adjustments that need to be made prior to the billing due date.
As we are coming to the end of the month, please check now for any unpaid fees.
Please be reminded that monthly tuition billing will load to your account on the 1st of each month. All charges are due by the 5th of the month.
If your family is signed up for ACH, all monthly charges will draft on the 3rd. Late payments will incur a 1.5% late fee charge. We appreciate your efforts and partnership to meet these expectations.
Please do not hesitate to contact the Business Office with any questions and/or concerns.

What is Parker's Pals?
Parker's Pals is for students in grades 1-4, who will be waiting for their older siblings to be dismissed at the 5th-6th grade carpool. We offer a supervised and monitored program in the lunch area outside the upper grade science rooms. This is a great time to get a jump start on homework or take some time to socialize with peers!
Students can also attend Parker's Pals if they are waiting on an after school activity that starts after 3 pm or a tutoring session after 3 pm.
Please contact Joy Sonntag jsonntag@parkmaitland.com, if you have any questions.

Dot Day!
We are excited to announce that Park Maitland School will be participating in DOT DAY again this year! Dot Day is based on the book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. It's a story about a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her own abilities by being brave enough to “make her mark”. What begins with a small dot on a piece of paper becomes a breakthrough in confidence and courage, igniting a journey of self-discovery and sharing.
We will celebrate by wearing "dots" on
Wednesday, September 15th.

Dear Park Maitland School Parents,
The Young Masters Art program is about to begin! Soon, your children will be completing their Young Masters original artwork in their art classes at school. We look forward to 100% participation in this annual program.
Young Masters is an annual program put on by the Park Maitland School Art Department. Your child will begin by creating a personal drawing of his/her choice on paper that’s provided, following some artistic guidelines.
The artwork is then scanned and a personalized brochure is created. The brochure will be sent home to you as soon as they are printed and returned to us. You will then have the opportunity to order a variety of fun products with your child’s artwork printed on them. They make great gifts for the holidays!
The Young Masters program encourages children to be enthusiastic about their own creativity. Your child will find great satisfaction in the keepsakes that you may order. They will be pleased to see them on display and in use, time and time again. This is a fun and enriching program for your children, and it is a “WIN-WIN” situation for all!
*Ordering will be 100% ONLINE, and products are directly shipped to your home or address of your choosing. More info to come!
We thank you in advance for participating in this wonderful program and creative art endeavor. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 407-647-3038 ext. 210.
Have a great school year!
Sincerely,
The Park Maitland School Art Department

Virtual Parent Night Reminders
|
|
|
Mark your calendars for "Virtual Parent Nights"!
We continue grade level Parent Night events next week. After carefully reviewing our options, we decided that moving to a virtual Parent Night format is best. As you know health and safety are extremely important to us at Park Maitland. Due to the current sensitive circumstance, we feel this is best at the present time.
This will be an informative evening where you will hear from your child’s teachers regarding the curriculum and learning experiences you can expect for your child(ren) this year. Homeroom teachers will be providing information for you including the zoom links needed to participate and the Curriculum Guide that contains valuable information regarding each of your child’s classes.
Thank you for your continued partnership, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Monday, September 13th @ 5:00: K5
Tuesday, September 14th @ 5:00: Grade 2
