Spring Clean Your Tech Clutter!
Out with the old and on to a cleaner, greener home! Join Deerfield Township and Deerfield Towne Center for a FREE E-Waste Recycling Event on Saturday, April 18 from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM in the Regal Cinemas parking lot at Deerfield Towne Center.
It’s the perfect chance to clear out those outdated computers, TVs, phones, and other electronics taking up space while making sure they’re recycled responsibly.
This event is open to everyone, so spread the word and bring a carload! Be sure to arrive early—the line will close promptly at 10:45 AM, and a large turnout is expected. A little patience goes a long way as we work to serve everyone safely and efficiently.

Easter Egg Hunt is back...TOMORROW!
Get ready for one of Deerfield Township’s most egg-citing traditions! Hop on over to Cottell Park on Saturday, March 28 at 10 AM for our annual Easter Egg Hunt—perfect for families looking to celebrate spring with a little extra fun. Kids will love racing across the field հավաքing colorful eggs, then trading them in for a bag full of goodies (a sweet treat for them and a win for the environment, too!).
The fun doesn’t stop there! Stick around to enjoy a petting zoo, dance along with a DJ spinning all the kids’ favorite tunes, and snap a photo with the Easter Bunny himself. Kona Ice and All About Churros will be onsite with yummy treats available for purchase. It’s a morning full of smiles, laughter, and community spirit and you won’t want to miss it!

Arbor Day Tree Planting Celebration
Celebrate Arbor Day by making a lasting impact right here in Deerfield Township! On April 18, from 10 am - 2 pm, join us at Kingswood Park as we partner with the Ohio River Foundation for a hands-on tree planting event that brings our community together for a greener future. Residents of all ages, and even local businesses, are invited to roll up their sleeves and help restore the natural beauty of the park.
Throughout the morning, we invite volunteers tol plant native trees to replace invasive species that have been removed, helping to strengthen the ecosystem of Kingswood. We’ll also be planting a special oak tree in honor of America’s 250th birthday—a meaningful addition to this community effort. This free event is open to everyone, but registration is required. Summer Camp registration is officially open for Deerfield Township residents, with non-resident registration beginning on Wednesday, April 1st. With so many exciting options and limited spots available, camps are filling up quickly, so be sure to secure your child’s spot soon!
Deerfield Township offers a wide variety of camps for all grade school ages, including incoming kindergartners, 1st–5th grade, and 6th–8th grade. Whether your child loves outdoor adventures, games, or hands-on activities, there’s something for everyone. Plus, the Arts Alliance is proud to bring back its popular Summer Art Camps, featuring unique experiences like Glass Exploration, Playwriting, and Creative Kids Club Camp all led by talented local artists.

Little Deer of Deerfield Storytime
Kingswood Activity Center, April 10 & 24, 10 am
This story time is perfect for toddler and preschool aged children, along with their parents or caregivers. It's a wonderful opportunity to introduce your little ones to the joy of reading, foster their early literacy skills, and connect with community. In addition to listening to story, little hands will stay busy with a craft based on that day's theme, dancing to music, and lots of giggles!

Calling all local seniors! Deerfield Seniors Connect is taking a field trip. Get ready to lace up your walking shoes and embrace the beauty of nature! Deerfield Township has partnered with the City of Lebanon to explore beautiful Miller Ecological Park (755 Miller Rd, Lebanon, Ohio) lead by arborist Casey Burdick of the City of Lebanon Parks.
Casey will guide us through the trails of Miller Ecological Park, and sharing her expertise on the area's flora and fauna.

Empowering Women Through Self-Defense
April 15, 6 - 9 pm, St. Margaret of York Gymnasium
Deerfield Township, in partnership with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, is hosting an empowering self-defense class for women on April 15 at St. Margaret of York Gymnasium. Led by two experienced female officers—Deputy Katie Barnes and Officer Molly Hayslip—this class is designed to provide practical, real-world techniques to help women feel more confident and prepared in any situation. Participants will learn valuable skills in a supportive and engaging environment, making this an essential opportunity for women of all ages to prioritize their personal safety and well-being.
