Cops and Bobbers Returns this Saturday!

Get ready to cast a line and reel in some fun at Deerfield Township’s annual Cops & Bobbers Fishing Derby taking place this Saturday, May 30, from 8 – 11:30 a.m. at Kingswood Park! Hosted by Deerfield Township in partnership with the Warren County Sheriff's Office, this free, family-friendly event is open to children ages 16 and under. Young anglers will have the chance to compete for prizes awarded to the three biggest fish caught in each of the three age categories. Participants can also enjoy a complimentary pizza lunch and will head home with a special giveaway to encourage their continued love of fishing and the outdoors. Live bait will be provided, but participants should bring their own fishing poles.

Please park in the northern parking lot of Duke Blvd for easiest and closest access to the pond. There will be plenty of signs to help you find your way to the event.

The fun goes far beyond the fishing pond! Families can test their aim at the archery trailer provided by the Ohio Department of Wildlife, meet animal ambassadors courtesy of the Warren County Park District, and enjoy hands-on conservation games and educational materials from the Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District. A live DJ will keep the energy high with music the whole family will enjoy, making this a perfect way to kick off a summer morning outdoors. Whether your child is an experienced angler or trying fishing for the first time, Cops & Bobbers promises a memorable day filled with fun, community, and outdoor adventure.
