August Pickleball Shootout
On Sunday, August 30, the Steamboat Tennis and Pickleball Center will host the August Pickleball Shootout tournament. Players will be randomly placed on teams, playing with various groups, and tallying points as they move through several rounds or play. The cost to participate is $30 per person. Participants can register online through their club's account, sign up at the front desk, or by calling the center.
Adult Wiffle Ball League
Looking for a fun activity to do with your friends this fall while also social distancing? Check out the new Adult Wiffle Ball League offered beginning September 10. League play will take place Thursday evenings through October 15, beginning at 5:30 PM on Vanatta Field at Howelsen Hill. Each team will consist of 6 players, and the league is limited to 8 total teams. Visit the website to register by September 7.
Music on the Green
The final concert of this summer's Music on the Green series will take place Friday, August 28 at the Yampa River Botanic Park. This week's performance will feature live music from Hayley Berg and Mike Martinez. While the show is free to the public, attendees must register for a spot in advance. You can reserve your space starting at 10 AM on Wednesday, August 26, and spaces will fill up fast!
Education Exploration
Registration is now open, and spaces are still available, for our new school year program Education Exploration. This full-day program supplements the Steamboat Springs School District's phase 3 schedule (every-other-day schooling). The program is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Kids will spend time working on schoolwork assignments, as well as participate in other fun activities.
Haymaker Ladies Clinics
Did you know that every Monday night is Ladies Night at Haymaker Golf Course? Join the Haymaker Pros for a casual and fun ladies clinic, followed by course play. Reservations are required with two time slots available at 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM. Start your week with a few swings, a few drinks, and lots of laughs, all for only $30 per person. Get your friends together and contact the Pro Shop to sign up today!
Family Art Session
Join Steamboat Creates on August 30 at 10 AM for a FREE Family Art Session in West Lincoln Park. Community members of all ages are invited to spend time outside making art together! Grown-ups are highly encouraged to make art alongside their little ones. COVID precautions will be in place, so make sure to bring your mask and stay home if you are feeling sick.
