Yoga & Qigong in the Park
Join for another amazing summer of yoga and Qigong on the lush lawn of the Yampa River Botanic Park. Classes take place on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 10 AM. Practicing in the park is unlike any class you've ever taken. You'll be surrounded by the beauty of nature, delicate gardens, and serene ponds. A $10 donation is suggested to help support the Yampa River Botanic Park.
Spring Creek Dam Restoration
In mid-July, Parks & Recreation will begin efforts to update and modify the Upper Spring Creek Dam. This includes several safety improvements such as a new 30-foot wide spillway, additional fill material on the dam slopes, and an improved drainage system. Due do the dam modifications, the existing bridge and trail access across the spillway will be removed and the off-leash dog park will be closed during construction.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Watercolors and Wildflowers
In 1876, Lulie Crawford came to the Yampa Valley with her family. She developed a love of wildflowers, which she captured in her watercolor paintings. As a tribute to her beautiful art, the Tread of Pioneers Museum shares her story, followed by watercolor instruction and painting. The event takes place on June 17 from 3 PM to 4 PM and August 2 from 9 AM to 10 AM at the Yampa River Botanic Park.
Buffalo Pass Hill Climb
Join us for the fourth Town Challenge race of the season, the Buff Pass Hill Climb at Buffalo Pass. This is a new race to the series, so you won't want to miss it. Youth races begin at 5:15 PM, with the adult races starting at 5:45 PM. Registration is available online until 11:30 PM TONIGHT, or onsite from 4 PM to 5:30 PM on race day. Stick around after the race for free food, complimentary beverages and more!

Steamboat Creates and the Steamboat Springs' Creative District help develop and nurture arts in our community. The mission is to create a space where artists can have a voice, where they can transform their dreams, emotions, perspectives, and world views into art. The City of Steamboat Springs partners with Steamboat Creates on many projects including public art and the re-imagining of West Lincoln Park.
