Summer Camp Registration
Summer is right around the corner, which means registration for our youth Summer Camp programs is too! Our programs are licensed through the State of Colorado and provide a fun summer childcare option for our community. ASSET Camp registration will open on Monday, March 23 beginning at 8 AM. Registration for daily Summer Camps will open to the public on Monday, March 30 at 8 AM. Space is limited!
Season Passes Now On Sale
With a new golf season on the horizon, it's time to get your 2020 Season Golf Pass for Haymaker Golf Course. Can't commit to a whole season? No problem! Haymaker also provides a convenient Punch Pass option to get you out on the greens this summer. Just download and complete the Season Pass Application from the website and submit it at Haymaker, City Hall or the Parks & Recreation office.
Athletic Field Scheduling
Are you looking to reserve an athletic field or green space around town for your outdoor activities this summer? If so, you can quickly search for various field maps and information for all available city fields on our website. If you would like to request a field, you can fill out the 2020 Field User Agreement & Rental Request Form and email both completed forms to our field scheduler at .
CHSAA Coach of the Year
A big congratulations  to our very own Mike Farny, Howelsen Ice Arena staff member and 2020 CHSAA Alpine Coach of the Year! When Mike isn’t providing excellent customer service at the ice arena, he volunteers his time coaching the SSHS Alpine Ski Team. Mike had an excellent 2019-2020 season with the team, leading more athletes than ever to the Colorado State Championship. Congrats Mike!
Super Ski Free Sunday
What an incredible winter ski season it has been at Howelsen Hill! You won't want to miss our final SUPER Ski Free Sunday and Closing Day Celebration on March 15 from 10 AM to 4 PM. We will be finishing out the season in style with live music from our friends Morningside String Band, free demos from Weston Snowboards, custom merchandise from Ohana, as well as food, freebies, prizes and much more!
Ski Ascent Series - Race #4
Join us this winter for the Town Challenge Ski Ascent Series. Similar to our summer series in format, inclusiveness and fun, the Ski Ascent Series includes 5 races during the winter season. Races take place at both Steamboat Resort and Howelsen Hill. The next race of the series will take place TOMORROW at Steamboat Resort. Executive Director - SSWSC
This week's featured partner is Sarah Floyd, Executive Director of the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, and dedicated Parks & Recreation Commission member. Sarah has worked closely with the City during her 30+ year tenure with the SSWSC. During her time as a Parks & Recreation Commissioner, Sarah has made numerous contributions, especially on the topic of river health and safety.
