Town Challenge Rescheduled

The first race of the 2023 Town Challenge MTB Race Series, the Emerald Endurance, was supposed to hit the trails tonight. However, due to adverse trail conditions, the race has been rescheduled to next Wednesday, June 21. This cross country style race has something for all ages and ability levels. The youth races will begin at 5:25 PM with the TOT (5 & Under) race, followed by the adult races which start at 6 PM. To learn more about next week's race including division start times, course maps, and registration options, visit the Town Challenge website.

Rocky Mountain Classic

On June 17-18, the Howelsen Rodeo Grounds will host the Rocky Mountain Classic team roping event. Enjoy the fast paced action as teams of ropers and their horses race across the arena, working together to rope and tie a steer in the fastest possible time. New this season, the Brent Romick Arena will feature premium grandstand seating, which is nearing final completion. The "Gold Buckle" seating will be available for the Steamboat Pro Rodeo Series performances this summer. As part of this new, high-quality seating upgrade, additional improvements have been made to the grandstand including seatbacks and handrails to improve safety and comfort.
