Memorial Day Ceremonies

Monday, May 26th, is Memorial Day. The City of Fort Lauderdale is hosting two events on this day to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our great nation in the United States Armed Forces. I am thankful for you all each day, thank you!

Fertilizer Best Practices

Did you know that fertilizer use is prohibited each year between June 1st and September 30th during the rainy season? This is to limit stormwater runoff, reduce the potential for algal blooms, and protect waterway quality. Learn more about best practices in Fort Lauderdale here. Youth Summer Programs

The Junior Lifeguard Program has two active sessions this summer. Youth from ages 9 to 17 years old are eligible to join. Training will include running, swimming, aquatic activities, and more. Adult Summer Activities

These FREE dance classes are happening now every Friday between 12:30PM-1:30PM until June 6th. The classes are designed for participants of all skill levels and backgrounds. To learn more contact South Side at (954)-828-6250.

Join the art and wine social with live music on Saturday, May 31st. Enjoy a culinary demonstration by Chef Marlon of Eats 876 Grill and a painting lesson by DJ the Artiste.
