Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great annual membership meeting and got to see many returning members as well as meet new ones. We elected two new directors to join our board: Kathy Williams and Karen Seifert and one returning director, David Messick. We also bid farewell to Rick Nelson on the board and thank him for his contributions these past two years as Treasurer. Rick plans to continue as a club member.

We have some fun things in the planning stages for 2025, but before we say goodbye to 2024 - join us for two outdoor adventures that are detailed below. No need to RSVP to these. Hope to see you there.

Always looking for volunteers

"We are always looking for new volunteers all over Pima County. Volunteers don't have to be "trappers", we can use help from folks who enjoy talking on the phone to do phone consultations and follow up calls. " [Mechelle Colby]

GVR Foundation's Member Assistance Program (MAP)

The GVR Member Assistance Program (MAP) helps our Green Valley neighbors struggling to pay their annual GVR dues.

 Through the “Neighbors Helping GVR Neighbors” initiative—if any member(s) of your club makes a donation to the GVR Foundation between now and January 31, 2025, simply designate “Member Assistance Program (MAP)” and be sure to identify the club name in order for your club to get credit for the donation. Donations can be mailed to GVR Foundation, P.O. Box 1553, Green Valley, AZ 85622 or made online at using the button below. We will be recognizing the club with the most contributions early next year with an award. This is something your club can be proud of all year long.

 Bingo anyone? If having fun while supporting a great cause sounds like a good idea, join us for Bingo on the first (and third through April) Mondays at the West Center. There are 16 games played so plenty of chances to try and win! The GVR Foundation members host and run this event. A bingo flyer with more details is below.
