Come out to Reaves Park for Norman Fourth Fest! There will be food trucks, family yard games, live music by Hook and the Vinyl Stripes, and an area where individuals 21+ may enjoy local libations from our community breweries. The event starts at 5:00 pm, with live music beginning at 6:00 pm. Let’s not forget the fireworks show that has become the largest and best in the state of Oklahoma.

The Norman Parks splash pads at Andrews Park, 201 W Daws St., and Colonial Estates Park, 1641 E Lindsey St., are now open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. The splash pads are free to the public, and splash pad shelters are available to reserve.

Fishing Derby 2023

June 10 | Griffin Park Pond | 8:00 - 11:00 am


Join us at this fun, family-friendly fishing derby on June 10 from 8:00 - 11:00 am at the Griffin Park Pond. Fishing, coffee, and sno cones! Each participant is allowed up to two catfish and three bluegills. All children must be supervised by a legal guardian. Bring your own bait. No license is required.

World's Largest Swimming Lesson


June 22 | Westwood Family Aquatic Center


"The World's Largest Swim Lesson!" will be held on June 22, 2023. Tens of thousands of kids and adults at aquatic facilities worldwide will unite for the 14th year in a row to spread the word that swimming lessons save lives!

These FREE 30-minute courses will be held from 9:00 to 11:30 am and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Westwood Family Aquatic Center. Participants will leave with a free day pass to return and enjoy the Aquatic Center! Reserve your spot today by clicking the link👇🏽

Outdoor Movie Night - Moana


June 23 | Lions Park | 7:00 pm


Join us for another Outdoor Movie Night at Lions Park on Friday, June 23! It's completely free to attend, and the fun starts at 7:00 pm. Round up your family and friends and set sail with us as we screen Disney's Moana! The movie will start at sundown. And to make it even better, we'll have the Jastos Tacos Food Truck parked nearby, serving up delicious food throughout the show. Aloha!🌺
