MAY IS MOTORCYCLE SAFETY AWARENESS MONTH

It’s that time of year the weather is ideal for motorcyclists to hit the road. Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month acts as an important reminder for both motorists and motorcyclists to stay alert and look twice. A few tips to help prevent accidents includes giving motorcyclists the full lane width, vigilantly checking mirrors and blind spots and always using turn signals. Motorcyclists should also be aware of ways they can stay safe while riding and taking a training program is one of the best ways to learn how to become a responsible, attentive rider.

Did you know? We offer motorcycle training programs at our own training facility. Through quality instruction, this program uses materials and techniques developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. The course progresses from basic controls and riding skills to street strategies, special situation and accident avoidance maneuvers with emphasis on personal responsibility and risk management. Successful completion of this course eliminates the driving and written portion of obtaining your Missouri State motorcycle driver’s license.
