SENIOR CITIZEN HOMECOMING

PARADE / SOCK HOP

Remember how much fun you had at your homecoming? The students at Lindenwood University and the St. Charles Senior

Citizen Advisory Commission will be taking our Senior Homecoming Kings and Queens back to the 1950's with a parade hayride/float provided by the St. Charles Parks and Recreation Department.

In addition, the Main Street Church and the Bev Roy Hope Foundation will host a free malt shop luncheon and sock hop to follow with music by Lamar Pilsing. This event is to raise awareness for the fundraising efforts for the Forget-Me-Not Park Memory Cafe

project at 150 S. Main Street.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9

Main Street Parade begins at 10:00A (116 N Main Street)

Did you know there are nearly 625 trees in Blanchette Park? Come enjoy the autumnal shades and learn which trees change leaf colors, when they change and why during a guided tour with our Park Horticulturist.

Calling all ghouls and goblins! Join us for a not-so-spooky Halloween storybook reading. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes. Registration will include one child admission into this event and a goody bag.
