BASIC RIDERS COURSE

The BRC (Basic Rider Course) is ideal for both beginning and experienced riders. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation requires participants to complete a 5-hour online training class before attending the 2-day motorcycle class in person. While at the motorcycle range, your class time will be actual riding training on our full-sized training range. Class objectives are learning basic controls, riding skills to street strategies, special situations, and accident avoidance maneuvers, with an emphasis on personal responsibility and risk management. Completion of this course eliminates the driving and written portion of obtaining your Missouri state motorcycle driver’s license. Click below to learn more.

POOL PAWS DOG SWIM

We’ve teamed up with the Missouri Alliance for Animal Legislation, which is a nonprofit organization lobbying exclusively for animal welfare issues in Missouri, for a pawsitively good time. Join us on Wednesday, September 3 for this end-of-summer fundraiser event! Your 4 legged friend will have a blast making a splash and playing with their canine friends! No registration required, payment will be taken at the gate. Click below to see the dog swim rules and requirements.

PAINTING IN THE PARK

This new program series partners with Do Art Productions to bring painting classes to our parks for each season. Enjoy a creative class in the peace of our own Katy Depot in Frontier Park. This program is a great time to tap into your own creativity while sharing the experience and inspiration with others. We will guide you through different techniques, paint mixing, shading and help with all creative inquiries. More than one painting is encouraged and everyone will go home with stickers, and other materials to help further their creativity.

TENNIS

Has your kid been itching to learn an ace serve? Join us on the court for our Youth Tennis lessons! Lessons will cover essential tennis skills, including forehand, backhand, volley, and serve. Your child will learn tennis more quickly through rally game formatting - first going over strokes and then going straight into tennis rally game play. Bring your own racket, or you can borrow one from our instructor. To reserve, please text (314) 971-0851 before class. Click the button to learn more and to register today!

  • Do not leave valuables inside your vehicle in plain sight. Properly secure your belongings or leave them at home.
  • Carry your cell phone or have a buddy join you while exercising in the parks.
  • Speed limit in ALL parks is 15 mph, be vigilant and watch for pedestrians.
  • Dogs are required to be on a leash at all times and owners are responsible for removing pet waste.
  • No motorized vehicles, including golf carts, on trails, sidewalks or grass.
  • Please be sure all fires within a barbecue pit are extinguished prior to leaving.
  • Please be courteous to other park visitors by picking up your litter and avoiding disruptive behavior.
  • Keeping your cell phone close can not only save your life in an emergency but also aid in saving the lives of others.

To report a suspicious person, activity or vehicle of concern, call the St. Charles Police/Ranger Dispatch at (636) 949-3300. We appreciate all eyes and ears within the parks and welcome comments.
