One of the most important opportunities for our staff and community to work together is through our School Council. School Council gives parents, educators, and businesses an opportunity to serve as an advisory group for the purpose of supporting and improving student achievement. We invite all interested parents and educators to step forward to serve the educational interests of our students through School Council.
We are accepting nominations for parent and educator representatives to serve on our School Council for the next two years. Please send a brief biography to Mrs. Sue Stovall (Sue_Stovall@gwinnett.k12.ga.us). All nominations are due by April 30, 2018. Elections will take place on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, via an e-mail link that will be provided or in our administrative offices.
We will be electing 5 parent representatives and 4 educator representatives. All representatives may run for additional terms if they so desire. Biographies of the nominees will be included in the e-mail link and available in the administrative offices.
In addition, any parent, student, faculty member, or community member who would like to address the School Council should contact the principal's administrative assistant, Mrs. Sue Stovall, at 770-806-3800 to request a date/time to speak to the School Council.
