To Our Dear Members and Mispallelim,

The day we have been anticipating for the past two and a half to three months is B"H here. Our gratitude to Hashem for bringing us to the day that our Shul will reopen, albeit with some staged planning and requirements. Our condolences and heartfelt sympathies to those who have suffered illness and loss over this most trying time.

This Shabbos, Parshas Nasso, will mark the first stage of our gradual opening. The guidelines and restrictions that will be in place at first are there for the benefit of all. Guarding our health, and the health of all our people is of primary importance. The Torah enjoins us to preserve and guard our physical wellbeing so that we may continue to be an active part of Klal Yisrael. It is obvious that we may not put ourselves, or anyone else, at risk of illness or Chas Veshalom worse. This virus is in the category of a Sofek (possible) Pikuach Nefesh. That is, it is the kind of illness for which one would be permitted to desecrate the Holy Shabbos. One may not place oneself in the danger of being in this category.

You may reserve to be one of the Mispallelim at the upcoming Minyanim. Thirty (30) men and thirty (30) women (ten sitting downstairs in the Ezras Nashim and twenty upstairs in the balcony) will be permitted to attend in the main Shul. Please send an email to  shul@yibethel.org  with your name and telephone number to reserve a place. You will be notified if your reservation was confirmed. All Mispallelim who receive a confirmed reservation are required to be on time for the beginning of Davening. After that time the doors will be closed.
