Part D Enrollment Outcome (PDEO) Summer Series

Introduction:

ACL uses STARS to collect cost data when a SHIP team member actively assists in Part D prescription drug plan (PDP) and/or Medicare Advantage plan with prescription drug coverage (MA-PD) enrollment. These are called Part D Enrollment Outcomes (PDEO). By collecting this data, SHIPs can demonstrate the impact of their work on behalf of beneficiaries.

The Part D Enrollment Outcomes (PDEO) Process Webinar

June 25, 2025, 3:00 - 4:00 pm ET

Description

In this webinar, you will learn how to use the Medicare Plan Finder to gather PDEO cost comparison information and required documentation, how to accurately enter cost data into STARS, and how to upload required documentation into STARS. You will also hear about new PDEO Data Entry Checklists and other resources to clarify the many PDEO scenarios and refill cycles.

Audience:

This webinar is relevant to all STARS users who help beneficiaries with enrollment and report on outcomes. It may also be relevant to users who enter their SHIP data into a proprietary data system other than STARS, as long as they are helping beneficiaries enroll and are reporting the associated cost comparison data.
