Dear parents, grandparents, guardians, and staff,
Congratulations and prayers to our 2nd graders as they make their First Reconciliation tonight! What a beautiful Sacrament for our young students and the entire family. We are looking forward to seeing the community tonight!
We also are looking forward to our November Celebration during Mass tomorrow. Our students and staff will receive blessed scapulars! We have a Celebration once a month from the virtue=Strength program.
There is still time to go to the store and purchase canned goods, peanut butter, etc... for the St. Mary's Soup Kitchen. Our School is having a Food Drive through November 26. We threw in a bit of a contest with the grade that collected the most has a dress down day! As I look at the chart in the Atrium, third grade has taken the lead!! Everyone also
has a chance to help out by donating at least a $1.00 to St. Mary's Soup Kitchen for a dress down day on Monday,
November 25. Students and staff may wear their favorite appropriate shirts, sweatshirts, jeans, or athletic pants. Any donation is greatly appreciated!
Have a great week!

Roller Skating in P.E. Class
by Mrs. Stronczek
Roller Skate Permission slips were sent home for students in grades 1-8. Please complete the pink permission slip and return it to Mrs. Stronczek as soon as possible so that skate sizes can be reserved.
Helmets are encouraged for new skaters. Helmets can be kept at school on top of your locker, and please be sure to put your name on your helmet.
Students are encouraged to wear long knee-high socks, as they are the most comfortable option.
We will skate for 3 weeks. We will learn forward, backward, stopping, squatting and crossing over.
Kindergarten and PK students will be doing Balance Bikes 3 weeks after Christmas Break. Helmets are also encouraged for bikes. Helmets can be kept at school. Please have your name on your helmet.
We will not share helmets FOR SANITARY REASONS.
I am so excited to get rolling again.

PreK 3 Rocks!
After reading the book Scribble Stones by Diane Alber, and learning about kindness, our 3 year-old Preschool classes set out to spread kindness and joy. First, each student decorated a rock, then teachers added a positive phrase, and finally the classes hid the rocks around the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School campus. Enjoy a rock if you find one! And if you would, please send a photo of yourself with the rock you found to Mrs. Vandegriff at jvandegriff@seascsfw.org, so we can track them and post the results! #kindnessrocks
