The Francis Howell School District has made some adjustments to the 2024-2025 school year calendar to align with state requirements for additional funding.
As shared in an earlier communication, January 17 and March 21 will now be Partial School Days, with students starting school at their regular time and dismissing approximately four hours early.*
In most cases, families should expect school buses to drop students off approximately four hours earlier than a regular school day. Some buses may run late. We ask for your patience and flexiblity as our transportation team navigates these schedule changes and contends with an ongoing shortage of bus drivers. (If you know someone that would make a great Francis Howell bus driver, please encourage them to apply!)
Updated dismissal times for the Partial School Days on January 17 and March 21 can be found on the revised 2024-25 Bell Schedule.
*Westwood Trail Academy and Francis Howell Union will dismiss approximately 3 hours early on January 17 and March 21.
