BUSD Parents/Guardians: We'd like your feedback
Will you take a few minutes today to comment on your and your child/children's experiences in the Berkeley Unified School District (BUSD) by completing the district family survey?

The survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete, is anonymous, and has an open-ended section for you to provide us with your thoughts and ideas. Your participation provides us with important feedback on the programs we've designed to meet the goals outlined in the  Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP).

In March, each of your School Governance Councils (SGC) and the LCAP Parent Advisory Council (PAC) will receive the information gathered from this survey to help with their program and funding decisions. The SGC at your school may also choose to follow up on suggestions and issues based on your input.

Don't Wait, Vaccinate!
Starting January 1, 2016, a new state law (Senate Bill 277) no longer allows parents/guardians of students in any school or child-care facility, whether public or private, to submit a personal beliefs exemption form for any currently required immunization.

Personal beliefs exemptions (PBEs) filed at a school or child-care facility before January 1, 2016 will remain valid until the student enrolls in kindergarten (or transitional kindergarten) or 7th grade.

If your child is starting preschool, transitional kindergarten, kindergarten, or 7th grade, you are encouraged to read more online.
