Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Participatory Budget Vote Week starts today! I'm excited to get your input on how a million dollars will be spent in our community. I invite you to kick off with us this afternoon at The Fort Washington Library from 12pm-3pm.
For Participatory Budgeting, I'm setting aside a million dollars from my capital budget to distribute among community-proposed projects. With nearly one hundred projects submitted, volunteers from across the community have narrowed it down to five projects. Voters 11 years old and older, will be able to pick their top three choices. Projects range from school repairs, to basketball courts, to one of our hidden gems, the Morris-Jumel Mansion.
As engaged members of District 10, I hope that you will pick the projects that you're excited about and cast your vote, either online or in-person. To vote, you must simply live in the district and be over age 11. You can find directions on how to vote in English and Spanish.
My Council website lists the projects. We will be hosting pop-up sites throughout the district all week. You can find your voting site below, on the PB Facebook page, or vote online. For the most up-to-date information and more details on the projects, follow our
PB Facebook page

Thank you for your support!
